The EDIX Amigo is a complete treeless all-purpose saddle with a sporty appearance, specially designed for young riders and their ponies.
The EDIX Amigo saddle allows children to explore various riding disciplines in a playful and safe way, from trail rides to small jumps in the arena. Its lightweight construction and comfortable finish make it an ideal saddle for beginner and adventurous young riders.
The EDIX Amigo saddle is available in a basic and a complete version. The complete version includes leather mono stirrup leathers, aluminium stirrups, and a synthetic saddle pad.
Construction
The EDIX Amigo is fully treeless and made from supple, high-quality English leather. Thanks to the use of different leather types and white decorative stitching, the saddle has a playful yet stylish look, both in the brown and black versions. The pommel is made from a narrow but flexible metal plate that helps the saddle maintain its shape and provides sufficient wither clearance.
Two separate leather panels filled with synthetic wool ensure a comfortable fit on the pony’s back and contribute to even pressure distribution. The soft leather knee rolls offer the young rider extra support and stability while riding.

Availability

For optimal stability while riding, EDIX recommends a 3-part anatomical or crescent girth. These girths move with the pony’s breathing and movement, ensure even pressure distribution, and relieve the chest muscles.
We also recommend using the saddle in combination with the EDIX Amigo pad or the EDIX 8-pocket pad. The latter offers precise adjustment of pressure distribution and balance thanks to its shim pockets.
