Description
The EDIX Hack-Q® Classic is an innovative, horse-friendly bitless bridle that combines elements of the English hackamore, sidepull bridle, and bosal. Designed for riders of all levels and disciplines, it offers a new way of refined communication with your horse. The Classic model features a traditional look.
The EDIX Hack-Q® was developed in close collaboration with Esther Boekel. The unique design of the shanks is protected under registered design rights with the EUIPO (number 007789730).
Comfort-Focused Design
The EDIX Hack-Q® bridle is developed with the horse’s comfort as the top priority. The anatomically shaped and softly padded crownpiece relieves pressure from the ears, while the unique construction of the Hack-Q® shanks keeps the cheek pieces stable even under increased rein contact. The throat latch is positioned low under the jaw, providing additional stability without restricting movement. Thanks to the technical design and accurate fit, a browband is unnecessary, this avoids pressure on the TMJ joint and keeps the horse’s face free.
Bridle Functionality
The EDIX Hack-Q® uses a refined communication system that begins with a subtle pre-cue. A light vibration through the rings gives the horse an initial, gentle signal. When the rider makes contact through the reins, the noseband and throat latch momentarily come together to create a mild, limited leverage effect. As soon as the rein aids are released, the pressure disappears instantly, a 100% direct release. Depending on the fit and direction of the rein aids, the pressure can be directed entirely through the noseband or the chin strap. The bridle is specifically designed to avoid pressure on sensitive areas such as the atlas, ears, and TMJ joint, making it exceptionally horse-friendly.
