The EDIX Tudor is called a soft-tree saddle because the saddle is more structured, compared to many other treeless saddles, yet the EDIX Tudor dressage saddle is still technically a completely treeless saddle due to the lack of a solid tree. The EDIX soft tree saddles are made up of several flexible soft shock-absorbing layers and panels filled with synthetic wool, which fully adapt to the anatomy and posture of the horse. Thanks to this construction, the EDIX® Tudor dressage saddle offers the rider a narrow and balanced seat while still offering great flexibility and space for the spine for the horse's movements. The EDIX Tudor dressage saddle is designed as a stand-alone saddle. With an interchangeable head iron system and the option to refill the pads, the EDIX Tudor dressage saddle is easy to adjust as your horse's anatomy changes due to growth and/or muscle development through training. In addition, there is the option to (temporarily) support and/or correct the saddle position with a special treeless 8-pocket saddle pad in which layers are provided for the horse and rider.
The EDIX Y-girth attachment consists of 2 front girth points and a third Y-girth point, together they ensure that the girth can be attached in several ways, thus ensuring an ideal, stable fixation of the saddle, depending on the horse's build. to guarantee.
Distinctive from many other dressage saddles is that the stirrup strap hook is placed more towards the center of the saddle to ensure correct leg position and to relieve the strain on the knees. The saddle can be further adjusted to the rider's preferences by choosing from low, high or short knee rolls and positioning them in the perfect place in the spacious Velcro knee pockets.

The EDIX® Tudor is available in brown or black leather and in sizes 16, 16.5, 17, 17.5 and 18 inches. Custom variants of this saddle take a maximum of 8 weeks delivery time, ask your dealer about the options. Brown saddles can have shade differences per production and due to the combination of 2 types of leather on the saddle flap, there is more and less variation for each saddle. You can always request a photo of the brown saddle that is in stock in advance of an order. There is a limited stock in Cognac, so please ask for availability if interested.
EDIX recommends purchasing a treeless saddle as a complete package, including stirrups, stirrup leathers and a matching saddle pad with inlay. Buying a complete saddle combination guarantees that all components are matched to each other and that the saddle is optimally tailored for both the rider and the horse. Your EDIX saddle dealer will be happy to advise you on the composition. To ensure constant firm fixation, we recommend a fully or partially elastic girth for a consistently fixed position. A durable elasticity that is tailored to the strength of your horse, protecting your saddle against unwanted forces caused by the varying abdominal circumference of your horse while riding. The elastic of the girth always adjusts in length and has the ability to keep the saddle in place with constant tension. In addition to the EDIX anatomical soft leather padded elastic girth, we also offer the elastic girth from F.R.A.
