Construction
The Vika is built according to the EDIX® MPDS (Multiple Pressure Distribution System), in which multiple layers work together to achieve optimal pressure distribution across the pony’s back. The upper structure is made of strong synthetic materials. The seat and knee rolls are finished with a synthetic fabric in a suede-look, offering extra grip and comfort.
The lower structure consists of a matching felt saddle pad with two large insert pockets, each filled with interchangeable poly press inserts. The underside of the pad is finished with a soft synthetic wool that adds cushioning and breathability.
The complete set includes matching fenders or stirrup leathers reinforced with wide PP-webbing, fender straps with buckles, child-sized stirrups with soft foam padding, and a fixed-size pony pommel. For rounder ponies, the pommel can be swapped for a softer version. D-rings allow easy attachment of a breastplate or saddlebag.
The EDIX Vika Child is produced using entirely vegan-friendly materials.

Availability
The EDIX Vika Child saddle is available in black and brown, in children's sizes XXS (10 inch) and XS (12 inch). The saddle can be purchased as a complete set or separately.

For optimal riding stability, EDIX recommends using a 3-part anatomical or crescent girth. These girths move with the pony’s breathing and body motion, ensuring even pressure distribution and relieving the chest muscles.
For the best pressure distribution and safety, EDIX advises using the saddle as a complete set or in combination with an EDIX 8-pocket pad. This allows fine-tuning of balance and pressure thanks to its shim system.
