I am Robin Cooijmans, 20 years old, and I live for horses! My greatest passion is training young horses and helping horses with behavioral problems. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see a horse grow in confidence and skills.
In addition to working with horses for others, I have two horses of my own that I’m incredibly proud of. My young draft horse mare, Benthe, is being trained by me, step by step, building a strong bond with her. She’s so different from a sport horse, which makes working with her unique and special. Then there’s Topaz, a 25-year-old KWPN gelding enjoying semi-retirement. We still go for walks and rides, and sometimes do liberty training, but the focus is now on relaxation and enjoyment.
For me, working with horses isn’t just about technique but about communication and mutual understanding. Every horse is unique, and I love finding that special connection and creating success stories together.
